In weakness lies your strength for it is then that I can use you.

It is then that you realize the need for My support and guidance and open yourself like an unfurling flower to feel the sun of My Love. Your very helplessness shows your willingness to be disciplined, to be cleansed of that which offends, and filled with that which is of service.

Only then, can you be My tool, My instrument, My disciple, for only then do you recognize your Master. The designer of your physical and spiritual self, the one who rules with authority, but always tempered with Love.

Pride was of such importance to you until you discovered its limitations, its utter worthlessness in time of trial. Meekness opened your eyes to see the human frailties of others as well as yourself and clothed you in Charity.

Strength lies not in grandeur and importance but in humility that dares to be aware of its faults and seeks to overcome them.

Can you not see what I am trying to show you? That when you have the most need and feel the most vulnerable, then you are filled with Me and your potential is unlimited.

Wipe away tears of frustration and self-pity, smile and feel peace restored to your being.

Be unconcerned that your weakness does not vanish for I am with you and all is well in your world.

Why do you look elsewhere when I have said, “I am with you?”

Why do you pray endlessly for that which you already possess? When I filled you with My Spirit, it became your haven, your shelter, your Protector. Whatever was necessary for your spiritual welfare, it gave to you freely.

It is not necessary to worry or be anxious that you will be wanting in what is necessary for your good, for it will be supplied at the proper time and set of circumstances.

You are asked to believe and to trust. Nothing more, nothing less, and you will be fed. You will be nourished and sustained, and with a peace and serenity, enjoy your days.

Rejoice it is so. Only know the Spirit is indwelling and invincible.

God loves you!

Unless you surrender you cannot win!

A strange message, yet true. when you clutch tightly angry, jealous, cold criticism of others, My grace cannot touch you. So, I ask you; surrender. Loose those bonds that strangle you and keep you in a state of indecision and pain. Lay before Me, the ugly, secret desires that are of no worth. Then, bare, rusting and full of hope, approach Me. I promise to fill you with gifts beyond belief. Old wounds will heal and you will discover a new creature, born of My love.

It is a hard lesson I teach you but a necessary part of your growth. Acceptance and Surrender. On these words, I have built an entire army. A company of followers, eager to demonstrate to others the power and love of My Father.

Do not remain content to be only a shadow of what I have planned for you. Demand your inheritance and then, lavishly, extend it to those less fortunate.

I call you this day and entreat you, do not linger.

You have called me to new ventures and I, comfortable in my old familiar path, have hung back and pretended not to hear.

I am cowardly, Lord, and the change assails me with fear. Why does one hesitate when You speak? Why do we doubt when repeatedly You show
Your love and power in our lives? What could possibly befall us if we said, “Yes” and had the courage to change our directions?

We can look back and see many twists and turns in our lifetime that  were unexpected and upsetting, yet ultimately worked for our benefit and growth.

Help us to be attentive to Your plea. Not to look away, but to decide that if you ask and I answer, nothing will be unattainable.

Teach me to seek quiet moments in each day when I can enter into myself and wait for your voice to direct me.

Close my ears to the world, shield my gaze from my surroundings and let me immerse myself in You. In such a way, there can be communication.

Speak Lord and I’ll try to listen. May the Holy Spirit firm me and
steady me as I take my first step in a new direction, a new way in
which I will serve and grow.

You are searching in all the wrong places.

You look with diligence where you feel I should be. Then, sorrowfully, you decide our Lord has forsaken us. He is not where you feel He would be.

You searched in cathedrals resplendent with jewels and images where music soared and filled the air, with pomp and pageantry and incense but your heart felt empty and alone.

You are searching in all the wrong places.

Go out of yourself and there you will find me. Bend down to put a comforting arm around one in sorrow, there you will feel My presence. Raise your eyes to a glorious sunset and feel your spirit rise to thank Me, its Creator. Hold in your arms a child and in the innocent gaze see Me, your Maker.

You must look where I am to find Me. For I linger near those who desire Me. Desire Me in pain, desire Me in beauty, desire Me in love.

I tell you, go where I am, not where you would have me be. For I am not to be put in compartments with labels. I am who am, I am everywhere and in all things. And I await your coming.

When you call to Me and hear no reply, that too is an answer.

Perhaps Silence is what I demand from you. An absence of words, a time of complete attention, an awareness of Who I am and that empty words mean very little. Perhaps time to reflect on how you employ the gift of Voice.

Is it used to criticize angrily, assail another, deride, discourage and reject?

Speech is employed in so many ways that are not my work, but the desires of another.

Be wary, be conscious. I answer at Will and supply your needs.

You need have no other knowledge than that I hover close by. As you realize this, gradually you will discover My answers in the Silence of your soul.

I look not upon the beauty of the countenance, but the condition of the soul.

Facial attractiveness is enjoyable and passes all too soon. Beauty the soul only increases in life and its glory exceeds as time continues.

Too many focus upon that which lasts a few years at the most, then mourn the loss.

I would have you concentrate on My teachings, remembering only that you are My creation, fashioned in the way I chose for you and if I find great joy in you, as you are, who else should you choose to please?

Surely the need to satisfy Me, far outweighs any other’s opinion.

Grow in beauty and wisdom and do not grieve over what fades, passes, and has no true meaning.

You cannot escape My call.

Closed doors prove no protection, for the Spirit roams at will and My call is ever insistent. Come, follow Me. As the wind causes the trees to bow and sway, so will I move among you, re-vitalizing, cleansing, turning your very selves in many directions, but all with a purpose, all with a desire.

I will make of you a new creation, show you strengths you had not realized you possessed. Undreamed of probabilities are yours when I touch you.

I urge you to answer Me, to fearlessly proclaim to others the truths I have shown you. Be willing, be alert, be trusting. The hour is late and the need is great.

Come, follow Me.

All My creation experiences growth, and you My child are no different.

Do not expect to remain as you are, for once I have touched your heart you will forever bear the imprint of My Presence. No more for you the dullness of inaction, for My call will be heard in your ears daily and new demands will free you to reach out to tell others of Me, even though you may hesitate and desire to remain silent.

The wind of the Spirit sways even the most stubborn. Again and again I have shown this to be true. Paul and others give testimony to the strength of My purpose and what I can accomplish.

Resist, if you will, but eventually you will work in My fields in the  way in which I direct you.

Fear not that you will prove inefficient. I will see that you are supplied with the necessary tools at the proper time. Fear not the tasks I present to you. Instead, rejoice. I chose you to accomplish My desires. Feel filled with purpose and renewed with Hope. I have need of you and that, My dear one, is all you need know. My call for your aid is sufficient.

Do not ask for more than I am ready to give you. Be not greedy in the demands you make to Me. For in My Wisdom I will hand to you the necessary tools to see you to success, and often times they will astound you and not be what you had imagined.

I must have freedom and access to your heart and mind. Do not decide what would be most effective in addressing Me. Come humbly, and with no pre-conceived notion of your gifts and what you can give to the World, for it is always through My power that you achieve success.

So many surprises I have for you and I delight in seeing you succeed in areas you have never dreamed accessible.

I await your prayers and pleas and give answers to all. In My time, dear children, in MY time!
