ABOUT THIS WEB SITE
CK’ are the initials of an elderly lady in Bangor Maine who refers to herself as Your Humble Listener but otherwise wishes to remain anonymous. Here, in her own words, is a brief and straightforward description of the remarkable experience she shares here:
“For over 20 years I have heard ‘words’ sometimes at prayer and meditation, other times as I traveled my way. They are not my words for I have no sense of meaning as I write them down. When the voice ceases I have to read the message to determine what has been said. There is wisdom, comfort, and direction in the messages. I share them freely in the desire that they touch your heart and feed your soul as they do mine.” /ck/
CK calls this collection of 365 daily communications “This Is What I Heard”.
With CK’s consent and blessing, several folkss in the Gardiner, Maine area have begun a ministry of assisting in the free Internet distribution of this work, initially on a one-a-day basis, and someday, perhaps, in book form. But they need your help in the form of a few minutes of your time at your computer and a bit of determination.
First, here’s the ‘time’ part; if you haven’t already done so, spend a few minutes with the posts beginning on the home page.
Then forward or send a copy of this page to everyone you know (friends, family, associates) whom you think may be interested. And don’t forget to include any appropriate church or discussion groups you may belong to.
…And the ‘determination’ part? Use your imagination to come up with other ways to invite people to this website and give it your best effort for This is What I Heard..
Thank You
